Sausage and Lentils
To bring in 2011, I put Puy Lentils into my clay baker along with seasonings and sausages on top, smelling them cook is a treat in itself. I have bread baking in the breadmaker and at midnight we will feast. With a beautiful Beaujolais 2007!

actually its on my stove top.
i bought two fresh chickens yesterday and baked them on two standing racks. took off all meat and made a great chicken stock. so this morning i am going to now add all my veggies and the cut up chicken., what a perfect time of year for great soup/s/.
