My grandmother made the same soup which we continue to make. It is made with lamb, broth and escarole, and eggs mixed with cheese scrambled at the end. She used to call it "Ka gi (soft "g") auv" (English spelling and pronunciation). We do not know its roots or the meaning of what it is called. I will continue to contact relatives to search its roots.

we make the same soup my grandmother brought the recipe from Naples Italy we cal it spitzauda that is just how it sounds I have no idea how to spell it
