There's the old stand-by of lightly floured liver halves fried quickly in either bacon grease or olive oil. Fried onions, adding mushrooms just as the onions get done, goes well with this also. Another favorite of mine is to wrap liver halves in half-slices of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Bake for about 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Awesome as an appetizer.
